NRA Approved SmallBore Rifle Match on Competition Range. This match is not shot during June, July, or August.
The Small Bore Rifle Competition take place every third Saturday of the month starting at 8:30 am on the Competition Range.
They are currently scheduled for 9/21/24, 10/19/24, 11/16/24 and 12/21/24.
LOCATION: Seminole County Gun and Archery Assoc, 2390 Gun Range Rd, Geneva, FL. 32732 Firing points are paved and covered. See www.scgaa.org click on DIRECTIONS for further assistance.
ELIGIBILITY: All persons over the age of 18. Minors must be accompanied by responsible adult.
RULES: Rifle: Rule 3.2. Current NRA SmallBore Rifle Rule Book will be used. Shooters will be squadded and firing points can be assigned. There will only be one relay per day. Competitors will score adjacent targets. Competitors will hang and retrieve their own targets. Competitor number, Match #, stage #, and firing point must be clearly marked on the front of target.
REGISTRATION AND FEES: ADVANCED REGISTRATION BY SR-1 IS REQUESTED.
The match fees for visitors are as follows: $15.00 Cash only. Entries limited to 12 competitors.
CLASSIFICATION: A minimum of three entries is required to make a Class or a Category. If less than three in a Class, shooters will be combined with the next higher Class. Unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class. Vision impaired shooters may shoot with any sights as a special Category but will not be eligible for awards.
COURSE OF FIRE: 40 Shots per match fired in two 20 shot stages, unlimited sighting shots; 20 minutes per stage.

MISCELLANEOUS: Matches may be fired in mildly inclement weather. Match Director may delay match in severe weather. Bring your own food & drinks.
