SCGAA hosts a Public Day on the first Sunday of every month. Public Day is free to all safe shooters.
Before attending Public Day, please make sure to read the following information.
MAKE SURE that every participant in your party knows and understands the following rules and procedures. Self-supplied safety glasses and hearing protection must be worn by all participants. Before attending Public Day, make sure to familiarize yourself and all others in your party with the Public Day Range Rules, below.

the following safety regulations while on this Range.

The SCGAA ranges are open for public operations on Public Day starting with check-in at the gate at 8:00AM.
All firing sessions will be preceded by a safety briefing and additional information will be provided at such times.
Only individuals that may legally own/possess firearms in the State of Florida are allowed to enter SCGAA property. (3.B)
No pets are allowed unless they are service animals and must be controlled. (8.15)
No weapons regulated under the National Fire Arms Act of 1964 (NFA) are allowed. SCGAA Duty Range Safety Officers may restrict the use of any firearms, ammunition type or range operations at any time. (10.8)
No weapons regulated under the National Fire Arms Act of 1964 (NFA) are allowed. “The NFA defines the specific types of firearms subject to the provisions of the Act. These definitions describe the function, design, configuration and/or dimensions that weapons must have to be NFA firearms. In addition to describing the weapon, some definitions (machinegun, rifle, shotgun, any other weapon) state that the firearm described also includes a weapon that can be readily restored to fire.” The following weapons are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA):
1. A shotgun having a barrel or barrels of less than 18 inches in length;
2. A weapon made from a shotgun if such weapon as modified has an overall length of less than 26 inches or a barrel or barrels of less than 18 inches in length;
3. A rifle having a barrel or barrels of less than 16 inches in length;
4. A weapon made from a rifle if such weapon as modified has an overall length of less than 26 inches or a barrel or barrels of less than 16 inches in length;
5. Any other weapon, as defined in subsection (e);
6. A machinegun;
7. Any silencer (as defined in section 921 of title 18, United States Code); and
8. A destructive device.
