SCGAA will be holding an American Rimfire Association (ARA) clinic on the Competition range on Sunday, December 15th.
If you have not shot an ARA Target, this is a good opportunity to try one. If you have shot ARA before, this is a chance to get in some practice.
Setup will start at 9 AM and first shots starting around 9:30. We will continue until 1:00 for any club member that is interested. Bring any scoped .22 rifle. We shoot off a bench.
If you don’t have a .22 rifle with a scope, we will have a couple of factory class rifles that you can try out. We will also have a couple of sandbags and mechanical front rests for loan.
Bring at least 50 rounds of .22LR ammo. If you want to shoot more, bring more.
We will supply targets and this event is free to all club members.
The range will be cold and all rifles must be cased and cannot be brought to the line until the range goes hot for handling.
